In the iconic setting of the Atomium in Brussels, Neos, ASM, Optecs, Docmatic, Yumytech,
University of Geneva and terzStiftung launched the new digital platform CREATE. With this new
platform, there is now an opportunity to capture the richness of life experience. After all, life
experience is worth its weight in gold and deserves to be shared with as many people – young
or old – through captivating stories on a digital platform.
Today there are more than 8,000,000,000 people living on this globe. Each one of them builds
experience throughout his or her life. That life experience says something about what you as a
person did or experienced in your life. Martin De Loose, director of Neos vzw, says: “It is
unbelievable that we do so little with this. I am therefore pleased that we have found a solution to
ensure that life experience is no longer lost.”
Two years ago, as part of a European project AAL, seven organizations joined forces to ensure
that the wealth of life experience is no longer lost. They created, in close co-creation with
seniors, a digital platform tailored to seniors. The result is a user-friendly digital platform on
which you can easily write down, share and build on your life experience (whether or not
supported by AI). After all, it is by sharing the past that you create the future.
At the moment the platform already counts more than 200 stories and 70 users, like Elvia, enduser of terzStiftung: ‘It’s interesting, it’s cool and I feel useful. Moreover, the AI support is impressive. You can ask questions, and the inspiring questions that came up were very useful. I can recommend it.’
